Studie zur Insektenvielfalt in Trier: Ergebnisse kommen im November

Studierende der Uni Trier haben zwei Wochen lang mit speziellen Tüchern Umwelt-DNA von Insekten gesammelt, um die Artenvielfalt in der Stadt erstmals systematisch zu erfassen. Darüber berichtet der SWR. Rund 1.000 Proben werden nun im Labor ausgewertet, die Ergebnisse werden ab November erwartet. Die Daten sollen auch der Stadtplanung helfen, Lebensräume für Insekten zu verbessern.
